I first met Michael in beautiful workshops with Northwest poet David Whyte, in 2016 and 2017. He and his brother, Owen, sang before each session, transporting me into a place of heart and silence. In both 2018 and 2019, my husband and I traveled to Ireland to join them and their mother, Noirin, for their week-long retreat, Turas D'Anam ("Journey of the Soul"). His poetry, and his soul, like Ireland itself, are transportive. May you be as inspired by it as I am.
