Magnificent Magnolia Morning

Today, the blossoms opened overnight,
letting in the new sun.

The sweet scent of Spring floats in the air.

Just as my heart opened to a new day, a new
Spring 
time in my life.

Today: my daughter’s 27th birthday.

May these photos of the Spring tree, the Great Magnolia, planted next to my home, 
open your heart.
May the photographs and my words open you to a new sense of Presence and Possibility in your own life.
May you walk into wonder with the innocent perception of a child. 

The tree was given to me by a dear friend, upon our daughter’s birth.

Friendship is a wondrous thing. It awakens Spirit within each of us.

Find time to take a walk.
Find time to appreciate a Friend.
Go out into nature.
Breathe deeply.
Let your body flow like seaweed moving with the tides.
Be grateful for your breath.
Be grateful for your life.
You have two arms to hug with.
You have a heart to listen with.

Become one with fluidity of the sea,
the openings of the buds,
the spirit flowing through your life.
